For photographer and content creator Kristen May, just knowing that options for her physical and mental health are a phone call away gives her peace of mind. She uses short drives into the mountains to help with her own mental health, but when that’s not enough, or for those of us who don’t have that choice, easily accessible resources like telehealth can go a long way.
“Lately I’ve been making time to get out on short drives into the mountains to help with my mental health. Taking care of myself has always been important, but now more than ever we need to be focusing on our physical and mental health. During these times when we aren’t able to get to the doctor as easily, health care professionals are moving towards telemedicine to help people with everything from mental health to physical therapy. It’s nice to know that even in these uncertain times there are convenient and easy ways to get the help we need.”
